Cooke Warriors Food Drive
This month, the Cooke Warriors Touch Rugby Club, together with their counterparts across Cooke RFC, have donated more than a quarter tonne of food items, toiletries and baby products to the South Belfast Foodbank. An incredible feat!

The month of January can be particularly challenging for food banks, as it is when donations are typically at their lowest.
Speaking of the collection, Cooke Warriors Touch secretary Katie Fry said, "I'm so proud of all our members at the Cooke Warriors and across the wider Cooke RFC for their generosity in this donation drive for the South Belfast Foodbank. It's great to see so many items donated to support people in our local community. Thank you to everyone involved."
The inclusivity of Touch is at the heart of the Cooke Warriors' ethos and the club has a good track record in community outreach having previously run several 'Get Into Touch' programmes for women, juniors of local primary schools, and IRFU mixed Tag Rugby teams, as well as participating in different fundraisers over the years. The Belfast based club is looking forward to making the donation drive for the South Belfast Foodbank a regular feature on their calendar.
